Less than one minute read time.
feeling low today. feeling very scared and worried that bc has spread to right side even though i have finished my chemo and got op on 6th. my right side has been checked by docs everytime i saw them before my chemo and scanned in jan09 and all fine, but i have that nagging feeling. think i am being paranoid and full of anxiety at the moment.

I constantly felt like this in the early months after my first op.  It didn't matter how many scans or reassurance I got, the nagging feelings wouldn't leave me either.  I still feel every now & again when I get certain pains, rashes or bumps the same paranoia.  It drives me to distraction, literally.  I do the most menial jobs around the house, put music on, do the garden etc etc.  Anything to take the thoughts away.  In time you may find your own ways of dealing with this.

I will be getting stressed out again later on this year when I go for my next scan!

You're definately not alone with these feelings.  All the best for your op.

HI I have had a really low anxious weekend also, unfortunately it's all part of it and it is sooooo scary.  I haven't been able to stop the tears and have felt so isolated and lonely even though i am surrounded and supported by loved ones and know i'm not the only one having a tough time, it doesn't make it any easier though.

So from me to you a big (((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUG))))))))))))))))))))))))) hope it helps..........

ok i wasnt going to answer this star, cos when i answer blogs i look at profiles first, you might look at mine and be scared, but let me say my mum had chemo in 2000, hers had gone in her lymph nodes, she had a scan last nov and is completely cancer free, i know no one can tell you for sure but you can drive yourself crazy if you keep thinking like .its still early days for you, and when you get a bit of normality back you will feel better. good luck, liz x

My dad is obviously anxious and worried, I try to be around and entertain him but worry that sometimes it is all too much and we might be over doing it. He has only known about his cancer for 3 weeks. As a family member you want to jolly them along and make  them happy but are we doing the right thing??

I don't know what I can add that the others haven't already, except to say that we all have low feeling and I think its natural to do so, you are coping with diagnosis and chemo that does take its toll.  But your results seem to be clear and you need to hold on to that thought.  I've been low for most of this month, is crap and the longer it lasts the worse you feel because your motivation has gone, but it will get better - honest.

    Thinking of you

    Take care
