uncertainity

Less than one minute read time.

Hi there everyone,

My dad was diagnosed with cancer of the gullet in november , he is just eating soups and drinking protein shakes ! dad is also a diabetic aswell so hoping it doesnt interfere with this . Ive never expereinces any feelings like this before and am very scared for my dad and for my mum who is now his carer ! dads cancer is inoperable and he is due to start chemotherapy next week , i think he is starting to give up on things now though as he is in constant pain and has just no life about him anymore , i dont know what to say or do to help him through it ! and i really wnt a realistic view of whats ahead seeing as dads cancer is inoperable and he isnt going to get better :-( x

    Hi Misspink,

Sorry to hear about you Dad. You and your Mum are there for him and that will mean alot to him even though he dosent show it . Be there for him when he needs you, sit and have a chat about when you where young the good old days. Days of happy memories.

As for whats ahead of you, its going to be a long hard road for both you and your Mum. I will send

you all my strength support and caring. Once he starts his treatment you should see a  difference for the good. All the best and Good Luck.

Take care and be safe Big Hugs Love Sarsfield.xx
