Valentina is two
she is beautiful and she tells little 'feebies'
she started to kiss her dolly, properly and seriously
when we play 'peek a boo' she laughs at 'boo'
yesterday she asked me; 'Daddy...?'
and I told her.
you were born from love and magic
with dark hair and eyes like stars
in an early dawn, nostalgic
like me. the big lion with a heart of chocolate
her favourite food, after ice cream
Valentina is my dream. came true.
my life is hers, I had enough
I'm done playing tough. its time to live.
and laugh.
The window
outside is raining and sometimes the sky is smiling sun
then we go with boots and laughter to jump in puddles
the muddier and bigger the better. and we don't run
we watch the rain trough the window
the window cries in long drops tailing lost .
I am lost watching, fed up of crying and feeling low
