Oh well, there always has to be at least one cloud for the holiday silver lining to belong to. I received a text from the clinic telling me I am not Hepatitis B immune. After all the years travelling and jabs and prods and sugar lumps (remember those for polio?), there is one nasty ailment that will still be able to do the dirty to me. So I have a series of various jabs to look forward to. Nonetheless, better be safe than sorry. I also know I don’t have any other nasty germs lurking, as they do, waiting to pop up at an inappropriate moment.
All of this modern life stuff is a bit of a pain, and I hope the Hep B jab isn’t going to be a pain in one particular place.
