I knew, sooner or later, I would have to face up to going back to the gym. I had tried atwo or trhee days but I simply couldn’t.
Like every before death and after situation, there are all kinds of problems in play. Most people there didn’t know about Laing and I, and those that did were obviously those who would be more sympathetic. Those who didn’t most certainly fell into the category of “hostile”.
So after my HIV test and shopping yesterday, I got home, blogged (it’s always important to remember those who matter most), and then decided I would go to the gym. By this time it was 7.15 and my gym is, through choice, a fair distance away. I managed to get there and out before they closed at 10.00. I felt so good yesterday, and I didn’t do all I normally did as my involuntary lay-off has lasted over a year, that I returned and did what I failed to do last night and a little bit on top.
On my way home I stopped off at a tanning salon and enquired about the processes and cost. It is perfectly possible to pop in and do what you need to do and out in about 10 minutes or so. I am pondering whether to get my pre holiday tan started today or defer it.
Decisions, decisions, decisions.
I used to prevaricate, now I’m not so sure.
