So, here we are again. Eddie continues to be reasonably predictable and manageable with the occasional blip!
Not long ago, I decided to do some ironing straight after a shower. I'd removed my bag for the shower and decided to give Eddie some air whilst ironing before putting the new bag on. I was happily ironing a shirt, whilst wearing very little and had not considered the potential implications of such rash behaviour, when I suddenly thought there was an unusual odour! Eventually I looked down as it dawned on me that maybe Eddie had burped but, to my horror, I saw he'd actually deposited a slug on to the top of my naked foot, and there was this small stool just sat there between the little toe and its neighbour!! Clearly, as there are no nerve endings in a stoma this represents a real hazard that I will be wary of in the future!!
The rather awkward journey from my spare room to the bathroom must've been a sight to see, thankfully I was alone in the house!
I hope you're all living in harmony with your stomas and don't suffer the same embarrassing "blip"
