Who is best

Less than one minute read time.

My son in law has recently been diagnosed with bladder cancer, he is 37 and needs life insurance to comply with the terms of his mortgage

it looks as though his premiums will go up 10 fold..,

are there any life insurance companies that could be cheaper ?

  • Hi - I cannot recommend any but some time ago I was offered life insurance and when I mentioned cancer I was told I'd need to be in remission for 5 years to be able to get the insurance.

I do have life insurance through work though - not sure if there are clauses that state that having cancer would void it, probably not... Maybe try and explore this see if he has something through work that you can use?
