Well I was going to add to this daily but I got a bit confused how to do it ♀️
4/7/25 - had lumpectomy & sentinel node removal, (3 I think was a bit dopey when my lovely surgeon was explaining) arrived hospital 7.30am to theatre 11.15am, home in house having my tea 5pm all good.
5/7/25 - bit tired found sleeping on my back uncomfortable being a side sleeper but no pain , started exercising, no pain.
6/7/25 - feel really good today, no bruising which really surprised me, apart from on my hand where cannula was. Did exercises no problem.
7/7/25 - great sleep last night, woke up sleeping on my wound side, didn’t hurt had a shower, washed and blow dried my hair! So relieved I was able to do it ok, kept wound dry , kept arms below shoulder when drying hair, bit difficult but manageable. Still no pain, took pain
llers first 2 days haven’t needed them since. Still no bruising surgeon must have been soo good. I know everyone is different but I have been so lucky
so far. I’m now going to forget all about it until I see surgeon again 24/7/25 to hopefully hear cancer removed no further ops and radiotherapy will start. Feeling positive
