I also am having treatment for the third time. Previously, I had Taxol and Carboplatin once every three weeks, but this time I am having both drugs weekly for three weeks with a break every 4th week. I have just started cycle 5 (out of 6) and my CA125 has gone down from 342 to 21.
I am feeling pretty good, just a bit tired at weekends. The only slightly negative thing is that on a few occasions, my neutrophils have not risen enough in a week to have the next chemo, which was delayed another week.
Previously, I had severe muscle pain in my legs due to the Taxol but this time it has been very mild.

You say once a week for 3 weeks, then 4th free, so does this mean the treatment goes on for 24 weeks? I don't think my onc will do this for me as a have had a reaction to carboplatin, and he stopped the taxol as my feet were badly affected and it felt like I was walkinh on hot coals. I'm interested to see what he will do for me...
