Chemo, lung cancer

Less than one minute read time.
I am starting chemo next week, 22nd Jan 2009, It is GemCarbo chemo. To clear any poss. cancer cells that are left, although I have been told there was no sign of any involvment of lymph nodes after surgery. There is still a chance there may be some floating around ! So this is to zapp them. Anyway, would like to hear from anyone who has had this or who would like some info of my experience of cancer. regards Lesleyflower x

Hi Lesley,   I had similar experience last year i was operated on in March half the left lung and 3 ribs  and then june and july was the chemo gem/carb too.  Each person is different during the chemo so i cant say how you will feel.  I had an xray in Sept where my lung was clean and have got my next checkup 4 months on which is next week.  I did feel very tired during the chemo and my only advise now is dont do too much save your strength and eat lots before you start your chemo, you can always take a look at my blogs and dont hesitate to pm at anytime.  I know it feels good to comunicate with others that have had the same,  good luck for 22nd and keep in touch

    love always
