Hi Lisa, so glad that you and Trev have a good sense of humour as it will help you both for sure!! I was the exact same and it really helped me to cope through the toughest of times! Even when I was feeling so low, my sense of humour kept me going so keep up the craic(as we say here,in N. Ireland)

Lisa and Trev, can I just say that everyone reacts differently to their treatment, some people have a very rough time,me, I coped with the Cisplaitin and 5fu!

Listen Missy, I was only a mere 48 year old when I went through my treatment, lol! I managed to do the paper round too!!!

    Big hugs,keep smiling, Alison. x

Hi Lisa, I'm glad to report that I kept my hair,(pride,eh!) It did thin out a teeny weeny bit, nobody noticed it at all!

Well Lisa I had some sickness and the Di,di, 2 f@ts and a splash! (cannot spell diarrhoea, lol!) I was able to cope, though!!! I had to stay in the Belfast City Cancer Centre throughout my treatment (8 weeks)so I was lucky enough to have 24 hour Medical attention, not that I needed it!

    Keep on smiling,big hugs. Alison.x
