Hi everybody, I was diagnosed with tonsular cancer, on the left side, just after Christmas and have had 10 sessions of radiotherapy. Up until now I have been able to have my few glasses of vodka and tonic at night to send me off to sleep. My question is, I try and drink it through a straw directed at the right side to swallow to minimise any irritation but am I making the soreness worse or will it be sore anyway?
