Talking the talk but can she walk the walk!

I have finished the active part of my treatment for BC (diag Jan 2010), it's been a whirlwind to say the least (surgery, chemo, rt).

I am a very positive person by nature and truly believe this has helped my on my journey and am somewhat surprised by my feelings at present, of will I be able to do this.  In my heart I know I can it just feels a little odd at the moment.

This site and all my MAC friends have been amazing and I am thankful for all the support I have received.  I guess these things take time, getting your head round finishing treatment and moving forward back into some sort of normality.

Sorry for rambling on but better out than in eh!!!!

    Hi Alex,

               Well done with the way you have coped with the "whirlwind" of treatment. It does feel strange and a little scary looking forward but you have a great attitude and a wonderful family so I am sure you will enjoy everything life has to offer.

    Hi Alex, Know what you mean,i finished treatment in July,got my results in September which were good.Everyone around me was elated and although i was happy with the outcome,i wasn't jumping up and down with joy.Instead i was very tearful and i had been very positive all the way through the treatment with help from friends on here.

    Now i feel like my life is getting back to some sort of normality  and i am back to work in November .I think it justs take time  to move on .but i am sure you will . Best wishes for the future,
