I am a 74-year-old woman who in 2013 found out that my left kidney had to be removed. In 2021 it was discovered I had a lesion on my remaining adrenal glands and also the CT results showed a lesion on the tail of my pancreas and then another CT scan showed lesion on my remaining kidney me.
first it was decided to remove the adrenal gland and then I would be on steroid treatment but then they decided not to remove the adrenal gland as they found a small lesion on my remaining kidney.
it was decided to leave well alone so I have another CT scan in July to see if things have remained stable.
so I have lesions on those three areas.
after getting over the initial shock, i’ve continued leading my life as best I can and wait for the next step.
when the time comes it may be necessary for me to be on some treatment which is a bit of a scary prospect but you have to take each step at a time and try and remain positive for as long as possible although there are bad days as well as good days
