The Kezzerbird feels great!

1 minute read time.
Hi guys...................Just to let you know that for the first time since starting chemo March 08, I actually have got through this one extremely well. I am still being weaned off the steriods that I was given before my holiday, maybe it's a combo of holiday, steriods and putting some weight on my skinny body as helped but I feel and look well. (I am amazed!) Not only am I able to stay awake, I have caught up with friends, been out walking and even doing the housework is a delight! Normally after chemo my stoma stops working and my appetite dissapears completely.............but not this time, Henry (my stoma) is working overtime and I am eatting well. I have some control back in my life! I go back to see my consultant on Monday for the results of my CT scan, though he did say that because my tumours are small, there may not be anything to see so I may have to have a laproscopy to find out what is going on. What ever the results, I shall hold on to this feel good factor and I hope that chemo 8,9 and 10 which are coming up will be like this one I've just had. The one thing I do know is that I am not going back into ZOMBIE mode which I was before and I am still kicking the cancers butt..................Love and hugs to all Carol (The awake and nutty Kezzerbird) xx ps I have put some pics on my profile

    Carol my sweet

What fantastic news - you must be over the moon to be feeling so well after chemo.  I've just been looking at the pictures and you look amazing!  Though where you've put any weight I can't imagine - you're gorgeously slim [said bitterly by she who has just put on 20 kg and gone up 3 sizes. . . ].  If that first photo is typical of the meals you were eating, you deserve to have doubled in size. . .   I'm not surprised that Monty is sulking - he's probably afraid you're going to eat him next!

By the way - I love the blue wig.

I shall have everything crossed that can be for you on Monday

    Talk to you soon

    Lots of love, Kate xxx

Brilliant news. Keep it up with the happy vibes. Will go and have a look at your pics. I tried to put some new pics on my blog thing but it wouldn't work. Must have another go.

    Best wishes, Shelagh
