Well - I'd been looking forward to it for weeks and it certainly surpassed expectations! Thank you all so much - Caz and Lanz for being fantastic hosts [and what a fabulous garden]; Lell for the music; Jayne for those cocktails; Megan for being my travel companion; Mayte for the MOST delicious food - hope your recipes will all be in Foodies' Corner soon. And the rest of you just for being you and being such good friends and wonderful support. I couldn't believe it was the first time we met - I feel like I've known everyone for years.
I'm already looking forward to our next get together!

You beat me to it!! Just to echo Kate's comments, thanks Geoff and Carol, you were fabulous hosts! Mayte, the food was out of this world and Gary, your kp, did sterling work! Lell and family, the entertainment was brilliant, likewise the impromptu entertainment provided by "Baby" Jayne and "Johnny" Thomas! Dirty Dancing at it's worst!
Too all of you who travelled from far (Pusspins and Markus) and near, thanks!! It was an evening I won't forget in a hurry!
