More New Year wishes

1 minute read time.
Yet more good wishes for a very happy and healthy New Year I always feel slightly nostalgic at the end of the year and, surprisingly enough, 2008 will not be an exception. In a lot of ways it's been a horrid year . . . but I've had worse, simply because this year it's all been about me, so I've felt more in control. The year that I lost both my husband and my mother was much worse, because there was absolutely nothing that I could do. At least in 2008 I felt I could contribute towards my disease management. And I have so much to be thankful for in 2008 - the love and support of my extended family and friends, and from all kinds of unexpected sources. And of course, the new family I have acquired at What Now - I know I have made lifelong friends here - I love your calls and messages, your status reports on Facebook, your sense of humour . . . I've had such fun with you as well as some tears, and of course two very special meetings - the Leicester Fiesta and the Cosy Cottage Retreat. Thank you so much for everything. Who knows what 2009 holds in store for us? My heartfelt prayer is that we continue to support one another and that we find many more reasons to celebrate together. God bless Much love and hugs Kate xxxx
