    Hi Karen,

Sorry to hear you still have a drainage bag. I had my drain in for 2 weeks then a bag on for almost another week before it was removed. I still leaked lymph in small amounts for 4 months until it eventually stopped & healed up so I am afraid you just have to be patient. I know it gets depressing after a while but it will eventually slow down & then stop, everyone is different I'm afraid.

Jings! 7 weeks!!  That's a bit of a drain...excuse the pun!  I was (touch wood) so lucky, I had two drains, the first was removed after around 4 days, the second the day after, although that one did continue to leak a bit and I had a stick on bag for a few days more.  All I can suggest is that you try to keep your leg elevated as much as possible, you need to try and keep it higher than your hips, not too easy I know!  Fingers crossed that it stops soon.
