The Lady Boys of Bangkok!!!

1 minute read time.
Firstly id like to say a big thank to you those who read my first blog and who very kindly (nearly wrote kidney!!) left comments from me,i am not alone,i am grateful for the things i have, and at the moment the little things mean so much more to me - homemade lasagne then strawberrys and cream with my mum and sister, all of us having a carry on in the car on the way to asda, having a cuddle on the sofa while watching tv,i hope never again to take the small things for granted and enjoy my life as it is,to be satisfied with what i have and to put my trust in others and the doctors looking after me. I have my MRI tomorrow and im really nervous but i know i wont get any results there and then so i have to just go on as usual. Its Edinburgh Festival time again here and tomorrow ive been invited out to see the Lady Boys Of Bangkok (is that how you spell it?) I wasnt going to go but have decided what the hell i could do with a laugh,i went last year and spent the whole show looking at these gorgeous creatures who had legs to die for and the most immaculate make up ive ever seen in my life,i almost asked for tips!! So a girly night out is in order and i hope the conversation doesnt turn to me and cancer and bloody kidneys i hope its just a normal girly night, where we talk about everything else but me! Im boring!!!!

    Hi Debs,

I remember that Karate competion well as we live very near Meadowbank and had chosen that weekend to take the kids for a Mcdonalds over the road from the sports centre, bad move, the wee one was terrified he was about to get a karate chop for trying to push his way in !

I took your advice and lay as still as i could for the MRI mind you one hand had fallen asleep by the time i got out! Never mind its over and done with now!

    Leigh xx
