Another good nights sleep, although my eyes were really dry when I woke up.
Put make-up on this morning as we were going to visit my parents and they said I looked pale last time. Had a really stressful time there today, dad's parkinsons meds are really knocking him out so much so he looked like he was going to die, I really struggled to rouse him. He was looking much better afterwards. I cut his hair and we helped mum cook their dinner.
Had my fortnightly call from my oncologist/nurse specialists. I went through my list of things that have been happening since my last chemo session.
Icky/nausea, reflux/indigestion, wind. She mentioned to take 2x Omeprazole once a day in the morning rather than twice, and also to get some peppermint oil capsules (colpermin)20min before dinner.
Mouth & throat sores she is prescribing more Difflam mouth wash.
Dry & Runny Eyes which started today just some eye drops.
I mentioned about the dressings are still irritating me so I have to ask chemo nurses when i go in on Thursday to contact tissue viability and see if they can recommend a different dressing for me. I might phone Chemo department tomorrow then maybe they can contact tissue viability ahead of time, to arrange a visit.
