Had a really good night's sleep but did wake at 5am, gave up trying to go back to sleep and eventually got up at 6am
Had a quiet morning infront of the TV feeling fairy good this morning, had breakfast and an hour later a banana, then at 12 I thought I would try a small ready salted crisps. A little while after having the crisps I started feeling a bit queasy. I'm going to take another omeprazole this afternoon so will hold off on the anti sickness meds for now.
Went to the Dr's surgery this afternoon and picked up my prescriptions. My Gp's surgery is brilliant. I now have a big stash of Laxido ready for next week, and I have some Elma numbing cream too. They have ordered a large tube but gave me a small one to tide me over until tomorrow's delivery arrives. I still can't understand why the Filgrastim needle is so big. Hopefully tonight's injection will go without a hitch or pain.
Haven't had a walk today as the weather has been really horrid, but tomorrow is another day and hopefully we will either go for a walk or out for a drive somewhere.
At 5.30 I applied the Elma cream and put the dressing over it. Took my Filgrastim injection out of the fridge at 6pm and just after 6.30 I took the dressing off and wiped off the cream, swabed with cleaning swab and Paul did my injection. I didn't feel it so I'm a happy bunny tonight and Paul's happy too as he didn't have to watch me screw my face up in pain while he injected me.
