Sunday 14th January day 11

1 minute read time.

Happy Sunday everyone. I hope you're all doing well.

I had a fairly good sleep lastnight, I'm not sure if it's just me but I have some very strange dreams since all this chemo journey started, lastnights dream was to do with losing my hair, which at the moment is still staying put, but in my dream I was out walking somewhere, and it just started falling out and flying away like the seeds of a dandilion and by the time I arrived home it was all gone.

I nolonger have the ache in my back which is fantastic, the feelings yesterday were really strange indeed. But that's behind me today, so onwards and upwards I will go.

It's a beautiful day today so I'm off for a walk (hubby's got a brace for his knee so he's coming too)

We walked just over a mile, not far really but it's a circuit we can do without having to drive anywhere. It was nice and warm so we popped to have a chat with an elderly friend on her doorstep she was pleased to see us and how well I was doing, her husband will be disappointed he missed out on a cuddle.

Apart from having this picc in my arm and a slightly sore mouth still, I feel totally myself.

I am going to make sure I drink extra, extra fluids today and eat some calcium rich foods as I have the district nurse coming tomorrow to do my bloods and change over all the picc dressings and things. The chemo nurse last week said my calcium level were a bit low last time so I don't want a telling off on Thursday when I go for my second EC

I'm going to enjoy the rest of my day now, thanks all for reading my post, if you want to leave comments for myself and others to read on how your EC is going please feel free. After all we are all here to support one another.

Big hugs to you all xx

Picture, is me out by the local cricket club during our walk as they have seats where you can enjoy the view.

  • Glad your aches have gone Alison and I hope your calcium levels are ok.
Sunny Devon - walking without a coat! It’s still chilly here in Hertfordshire.
I went to a garden centre today which was a nice little outing but I felt strange being near so many other people.
Hope you get on well with the district nurse and have sweet dreams Sleeping
