I took 2 amitriptyline last night after dinner, I then went up to bed at 8pm, put a movie on, but only watched a bit of it. Hubby woke me when he came up just after10pm, I soon went back to sleep and finally woke at 5.30. I eventually got up at 6am took all my meds, wiith a banana and cuppa.
I seem to be following on from my first chemo session as I am still feeling quite good at the moment. I will have the Filgrastim injections starting again this evening. So I am also expecting my taste but to go totally again tomorrow, and get the sore mouth and tongue, but I am prepared for all that this time. I was given difflam mouth wash from the chemo department. Food wise, I have some foods that I like but also have different textures.
I have been or a nice walk today, and met up with lots of friends as they were leaving the local coffee morning. Luckily there is a big entrance lobby that I could sit in so as ppl came out I could have a quick hello and chat. I'm glad I wore my wolly hat and scarf as it was freezing out. I just wish it was summer so that I could just brave the shave. I made an effort with make-up today and jewellery too.
Had a lovely tastey meal tonight probably the last for the next 4 days when taste goes.
Filgrastim injection done, fingers crossed I only get I day of aches again. Pills all done, then another early night tonight.
Happy Saturday everyone
