Woke up just before 7am. Happy Saturday, no stomach pains either last night, so the best night's sleep for a while.
Took my Chemo meds, and when hubby hot up he mentioned that my face was bright red, it did feel warm to touch but I wasn't feeling hot. I took my temp and it was 36.1 so I will keep an eye on it today. Went for a walk after a bowl of porridge and another cuppa. After a late lunch I took the rest of my meds, I took gloop too as I started belching like a bull frog. Only had fish salad and home made potato wedges, so not sure why, but it seems to happen after each cycle for a few days.
Still feeling cold but my temp is 36.5 now so all good, will continue to monitor it. Have had a little doze this afternoon.
5pm applied Elma cream in preparation for the Filgrastim injection, I'm so pleased I have this now. But I have made a friend going through chemo with me same hospital, started same regime 4xEc followed By 4X paclitaxel and she only has 1 filgrastim injection not 7. We have same oncologist too so when I speak to her before my next treatment, I might see if I can gave just the single dose instead of having over 7 days.
Going to watch 1% club tonight and see how well my Chemo brain works
Then I will be off to bed.
