I started off before the birds again, this is getting be a bind. We even stayed up later lastnight, I made it till 1am before turning over and falling to sleep, and that's with no naps or anything since getting up yesterday morning. I'm like every ready bunny, .
When i went to bed lastnight, my mouth and tongue was a little sore, not sure if it has anything to do with the chemo or stuffing my face with half a fresh pineapple, it was so sweet and juicy though.
This morning I still gave a sore tongue, mouth not quite so bad.the other thing that seems to have appeared is a slightly achy lower spine, maybe I'm now going to get the Filgrastim side effects now.
The doorbell rang just now and another box of goodies arrived this time from Cancer support UK, it really liffted me, not only because I forgot that I had filled in a form to get it but also becaus the postman rang the doorbell meaning he woke hubby up from his blissful sleep . Well it was nearly 9am and I had already been up for about 4 hours.
Decided lastnight before bed that we would make a couple fruit cakes before my hair starts falling out, that's still holding at the moment. I weighed, he mixed, the trials of being right handed and having a picc, I did forget myself and had a teeny tiny lick of the spoon, then though oh I shouldn't do that with possibly dodge nuets.
Had a little back rub and the ache has moved further up my spine, but nothing like I had years ago with a trapped femoral nerve.
All prep for our turkey dinner, done ready for when the cakes come out of the oven. Been good getting couple loads of washing done as well.
Sat watching Exeter Chiefs on TV while typing so I can still multi task of sorts, even if my head keeps trying to sit on my hand. yeah they managed to win the match, only just though.
It's just after 4pm and the ache in my lower spine has been slowly working its way up my back, it's a strange sensation hopefully by the time I have eaten today, it will be at the top and then it can just shoot out the top of my head, maybe that's where the saying blow your top comes from. I suppose it's a little bit like when you have a bad cold but not actually having any other symptoms.
I have decided that once I have had my dinner, I'm going to take myself up to bed and find a nice move, maybe I will watch Bridget Jones again, if a fall asleep and wake again I will know what's going on. This is genuinely only the second day I have felt this shattered, but I think it could also be to do with lack of sleep.
just a wonderful meal finished off with kiwi and greek yoghurt and honey. my ache isn't so bad now but I have decided I will still go and try to get a good night's sleep. I did realise just now thst I haven't had enough fluids today, so maybe that's the problem. Note to self drink more liquid.
It's now 6.45pm and the back ache seems to have goneHope you all have a wonderful Saturday night. Have as much fun as your body will allow you. Atleast I know I'm going to enjoy my roast dinner this evening.
It's now 6.45pm and the back ache seems to have gone, maybe dehydration does effect how you react.
Keep positive everyone we can do it one day at a time xxx
