Well when I went to bed lastnight, I noticed a couple of blisters on the edge of my picc dressing. We took a photo, to see what it was like this morning.
Well I woke and got up just after 5am, a slight sore throat, with my sore mouth, I think I must have been sleeping on my back trying to catch flies or spiders I'm hoping I caught neither, I probably sounded like the warthog this time
I looked at the blisters, they hadn't got any bigger since I loosened the dressing a bit lastnight, but I will leave a message for the district nurses, as I don't want to risk anything with the weekend coming.
Sat and watched Emerdale, and the Traitors, I really don't like the smarmy Harry, I can't see how he's fooling everyone in there. I hope I don't get addicted to Emerdale, there seems so much crap going on in such a small village. I need to find something else to binge watch in the mornings, suggestions welcome.....
The district nurse arrived just after 10am to a house filled with the smell of grilled bacon, yes I could actually taste my bacon butty, maybe not as much as normal but it was a nice change from yoghurt, toast or banana.
It's been such a lovely day that we decided to go out and enjoy the sunshine I made sure that sunscreen was applied to my face and head. First went to dunelm and bought a lovely new duvet cover and sheets. I'm going to put that on the bed for my next chemo session on Thursday. We then went and had a nice walk around a park near the indoor bowls club as hubby has arranged a game with a friend I had that few too many drinks feeling. It was nice to see the staff in the club as I havent been in there since before Christmas. I tried playing bowls for the first time since my second operation in November, I managed to play 2 ends before I felt totally shattered so after a while I ended up going out to the car for a little snooze, so hubby could enjoy his game without worrying about me, plus I didn't want to fall off a chair like a drunk.
I haven't had any back or bone pain at all this week, I am so thankful that I seem to be sailing through this EC so far. Its the last Filgrastim injection tonight so I'll have a full 5 days with no pills or anything, apart from antacid goo if I need it.
Had a nice dinner of Greek mince with pasta, and kiwifruit.
I have seen that hubby's football team is on TV tonight he's a share holder too, I bought him 1 share years ago for Christmas, I couldn't think what else he might need as he has the best thing ever being married to me but I needed something to wrap up anyway
I will find a nice movie to watch, and hopefully he will bring me tea at halftime.
Have a good evening all, I'm planning on one. Xx
