He's home!

Less than one minute read time.

James returned home safe and sound late Tuesday evening from his treatment in Sri Lanka, was sooo good to see him. We're waiting for the PSA results now.... fingers crossed for the levels to come down...

Will keep my fingers crossed for you both.  I  sometimes think it's harder for the partner than the actual patient.  The patient can try doing things to help whereas the patner feels quite helpless.  Stay strong.

Thanks Sarfield.  Last year the PSA level was 24, and it had dropped gradually to 11.9 by March this year. We just found out today that his PSA level is 13.5 which is exactly the same as last month,  and is great news really because it seems to be stabilizing :-). So although the months of ayurvedic treatment hasn't cured him, it may have helped to put it into remission hopefully.  Jx

Thanks Crowiedoll. I'm lucky that James is very open and shares his research, feelings, thoughts, anxieties. And I know sometimes all he needs is for me to be there to listen, or cook him a nice meal, or just hug him. We're both staying really positive as we can, and we let out any frustrations or anxieties when they need to come out. Our honesty and being able to talk about and express whatever we need to is a huge strength. Jxx
