Just got back from having my third cycle of chemotherapy, feel OK apart from sickness which isn't too bad at the moment. My main reaction when having the treatment is to the Cyclophosphamide, I get a pain behind my eyes a bit like headache or sinus pain but luckily this only lasted about 20 minutes this time.
Saw consultant who has confirmed I am looking at 8 cycles in total and will have a follow up ct scan after cycle 4, still no result back from echocardiograph so this is being chased up. Also said at some point I will have a pet scan as well as a ct scan but think this was to be at the end of all cycles.
Chemo doses upped slightly this time, didn't know until after I had finished it though but hopefully won't make a difference to side effects.....will wait and see.
