The results came back on Monday and the consultant said it was all fine. Then on Friday I found a hard lump on my collarbone, I guess it's about the size of a strawberry. I went to my doctor who said I needed to have an xray tomorrow (Monday).
I am wondering if anyone has any experience of this with melanoma and is there a connection? The doc didn't seem overly concerned.
It felt like a marble Joolz, but didn't really hurt, more like a dull ache, with occassional twinge, and definitely not sore when prodded or poked, I'd have been less worried if it had been. It did come up overnight, but that's what glands do anyway, when they're doing the job that they're supposed to do when fighting an infection of any kind.
