Today I am feeling very tired,even after a year the after effects of the radiation are always there,but the doctors said it would be a long hard road as your body has been put through hell and back. Nov 2nd Been given slow release morphine patches + oromorph to try and control the pain,and if i can manage a tipple then thats fine to.Who needs red bull? I am flying without wings. Nov 9th. Taken off patches because not strong enough.Put on MST + Oromorph to counter-act the pain.Seems to be working at the moment,but have to wait and see!Have 2 appointments this week 1,with the dieticion on Monday 2.Oncologist on Wednesday,that is where we get down to the nitty gritty,to exactly whats going on and see what they decide to do! Dec14th 08 A lot has changed over the last few weeks.Tomorrow I start on my hyperbaric chamber treatment,that is supposed to increase the flow of blood to my gums and jaw bone as my teeth are falling out.I have got to have 20 treatments each lasting 90 mins.My meds are still quite strong as i am on mst,oromaph,diazapan,anti-depressants to name but a few.I have had cancer for quite sometime now so I tend to take things as they come.My health is quite erractic,one moment I am ok the next I can have a raging temperature but hey thats life as they say.So I will post again when I have any more news. 15;12;08 just got back from my first session.It was a very strange feeling,apart from being cold,I didnt feel to bad at all.I found out that this treatment is also used for ms sufferers as well.Tomorrow I think I will take a book to read,because 90mins is a long while with nothing to do.Oh well 1down 19 to go.
