I was diagnosed with cancer shortly after I finished college last year. I am now coming to the end of my treatment with only one more dose of chemotherapy and I will then start radiotherapy. I am beginning to start my job search to start off my career but am unsure on a few things and wondered if anyone had any experiences with job hunting with cancer they would like to share.
First of all I am unsure whether to wait until I am completely finished with treatment before I start applying for jobs as I have been off for a long time and am really keen to get going now. The other thing was whether to disclose that I have suffered from cancer or not. I'm unsure if an employer will think that it might be risky employing someone with cancer in case it comes back.
Any help would be appreciated.
