Since I joined the site I have noticed the majority of people with bowel cancer seem to ride horses or bicycles. I cycled for years with baby seats for my children.
Is there a link?
Just wondered how many bowel cancer sufferers have this connexion.

I have done both and still ride. Mine isn't bowel cancer, but breast cancer. My mother in law had bowel cancer and never rode a horse or bike in her life. Is the connection perhaps people who are out an about in the "fresh air" - just a thought. Oddly I have walked dogs and ridden horses up a farm lane nearby since we moved to this house 30 years ago. Most early mornings before BC when I worked full time and walked dogs at 6.30 a.m. I met the local vicar and a guy who works for the CPS walking their dogs. The both were diagnosed with prostrate cancer after me - it makes you wonder!!
