Hi girls.  Very new to this so forgive me if you've seen it all before.  I have been taking Arimidex for a year now and am really beginning to notice a change in my hair. It's thinning la lot and has become finer and more unmanageable.  What I would like to know is, has anyone out there used Viviscal tablets for hair thickening?  I'm willing to give it a go but 6 months at 50quid a pop is a bit steep!

  • I took Letrozole and now Tamoxifen so I don't have direct experience of Arimidex. What I would say is it might be an idea to check out the use of the tablets with your doctor in case there are any contraindications.

You might have a better response if you post this on the main Forum page.

    Best wishes,

i was on tamoxifen for 5 years and now on arimidex... i am also a hairdresser, please believe me when i tell you, if there really was a cure for thinning, or balding hair.... do you think the rich and famous woud need weaves and wigs, ...think gail porter, elton john, keven kostner, bruce willis, if you keep your layers shortish on top it makes it look thicker, some shampoos coat the hair in a film, that give the illusion of being thicker, but they an tend, with regular use, make the hair dull and lank, my advice would be to keep your money for a lovely treat, and that will make you feel better

    good luck
