Well it's Friday, day after op and I was supposed to be going today but I didn't manage it, still in to much pain, by all account they had fitted my feeding tube too tight, so they have loosened it and upped the pain killers.
Saw the dietician who told me all about how my tube and feeding tube would work.
Saw a nutrition nurse who told me all about how my tube and feeding would work, but totally different than the dietician. She explained to me that I would be fed through the night with a pump so all good.
Wait.... Saw a nurse from 'nutricia' who came to do my training, she decided that I wouldn't be fed through a pump but would inject it at intervals through the day. She explained how my tube and feeding tube would work, which was a version sort of mixed up of the dietician and the nutrition nurse, so now I have enough knowledge to make something up of my own variety when the time comes!!!!
Doctor visited to confirm that I couldn't go home and rest with pain killers, staying in hospital would be the best thing for me.
So another night and I can go home tomorrow (Saturday)
