Day 3

Less than one minute read time.
Well I turned up at 8am for my 'routine procedure' only to find the ward was full and I had been shipped to another ward. Sat on the other ward for 2 hours, then shipped down to a corridor for an hour. Had my feeding tube fitted and back on ward by 1pm, Nil by mouth for 6 hours. Wel the routine procedure that everyone told me was painless turns out to be one of the most painful things ever!!! It feels like I have been stabbed and everytime I move it feels like they are twisting the blade. I'm on intravenous paracetamol and oramorph so should get better. Transferred to another ward where I'm 'flushed out' and given more painkillers! Hopefully will get out tomorrow along with my 'stab' wound!!
