Is this to risky???

Less than one minute read time.
Hello Just wondered if anyone has risked going on holiday without travel insurance?? It is so expensive to try and get insured, and as I'm only going for a week and have been well, thought i would risk it, does anyone have any advice for me and haven't been away from England since my dx in Feb this year, so a little nervous. Thanks folks.

    Hi,

Not sure where you are looking for travel insurance but believe most will cover you excluding your existing.

I took out an annual cover, multi trip world wide. I called in and explained I was a cancer patient and they just excluded anything relating to it.

At the end of the trip you can regret the expense but should something happen the cover is worth its weight. I'm not going to recover so anything happens cancer related I'll just stay where I am! Worst comes to the worst I wouldn't expect repatriation and all that expense but I won't let it stop me going.

Unfortunetly it's our partners that suffer so if they agree, don't worry just cover everything else.

To go without is the risk and depends where you are going, Europe / EEC you can get your medical card before you go for basic cover. But that is a basic cover and won't get you home.

So far I haven't regretted the £48 premium and have been away 4 times so far with 2 more planned.

Whatever you decide, Action has consequence, are you feeling lucky!!

    Best wishes, keep smiling.

    Dave
