Jill has been in hospice approx 6 weeks now , and at present is fine . The Docs have told that there have been no less than 4 occasions, when they felt she would leave us, remarkably she keeps coming albeit not just the same as before . Her eyesight is now affected and so is her ability to work unaided . When we were told that no further active treatment was available , we found it very hard as a family to accept that we were to lose our youngest daughter ( 19) to this brain tumor . What we are thankful for id that our daughter is able to come home on a daily basis and then Mum takes her back at night and stays with until the follow day when she has her meds renewed. She has currently 2 driver's attached but 1 comes's off at lunchtime each day, and then she gets home.
Wish i could be more upbeat about all of this , but we do appreciate that she is still with us and bless each we have with her.
