    Hi Jeff,

I have  a similar problem.  My PSA has gone up twice in the past two months: should I be worried?.

I started on Decapeptyly injections in January then PSA rose in September. Casodex  (a daily tablet) was added and the readings began to fall again before increasing in December, and again this week.  The complication is that I had a stent (bladder to kidney) changed in December and was told that this would affect PSA readings. Stupidly, I do not ask for more details.

I will see the oncologist on Monday and keep trying to anticipate what he will recommend.  Would the surgery effects last this long?

I knew I was clutching at straws.

I am off the bicalutamide with immediate effect and have to look at other options, including a drug trial.

The stent change was a red herring unfortunately.
