its never as bad as you are expecting..... yes its scary... everyone reacts differently.. but i can only tell you MY experience of it... and the truth is, if i hadnt have had chemo , i wouldnt be alive today, i had 8 fec 100, which i finished 18months ago, the anti sickness drugs are quite effective nowadays ... mine was every 3 weeks and i had 2 good weeks out of every 3... it also got easier with each one although this is not always the same for everyone... expect fatigue.... food tastes strange... ice lollies help , strong flavours too... pineapple is supposed to be good , but i dont like it so i cant say....loss of appitite can be normal, strange aches and pains also... but it works... and can literally be a life saver, so in my book its worth it... and its not forever... so wishing you the very best of luck....see you out the other side... and during it... we all are here for you

I have had 6 cycles of Chemo, which as Liz says is never as bad as you are expecting and it shrunk down the Ovarian tumour really well. I too have just had a radical hysterectomy, still feel as though everything is " wobbling around" inside. I need more Chemo. unfortunately as they could not remove all the tumours in my abdomen. I guess that second time around it will  be easier,
