How sad is this?

Whilst away from chat for a short while the above person went it and was very abusive, will not repeat what i was told.  Regardless as to how ill a person is it does not give them the right to use such fowl language.  We are there to help people, if this person requires help we are all there for her, but dont tell folk they are all going to die etc..  i am being kind with my wording and do not wish to offend, but hearing what was said had to blog.  If you only wish to use chat to be offensive to one all then I must pity you.

    Hi Jen,

Sorry you were not happy with chat, but, please do try again.  at least 90% of the folk that go into chat are for the right reasons, sadly we do get 10% who are there to be bloody minded and uopste the whole thing. Chat has been a real booster to myself, not only in the fact have made friends who understand, but can put back what have received, and will continue to do so.  So do notlet the odd few put you off.

Will be in tonight between 9-10 ish and staying for sometime so will give you a really warm welcome along with all other members, please do try it. Jan x

    Hi Jen

Well that wasn't very nice, just ignore comments like that. As Jan says most of us are there for each other but for a small percentage it's all about them. I have finished chemo and rt now but still go in to try and help others and see the wonderful friends I have made. Whilst having chemo there were many days when I wanted to crawl into bed but I went in to chat instead and usually left feeling much better thanks to the many fantastic people that use that room, Jan being one of them! We do get a bit daft sometimes but if you're low and want to chat more seriously we do stop, alternatively grab one of us for a one to one chat.

    Hope to see you soon

    Hi Jen

Just want to echo what the others are all saying, please do not be put off by the unthinking comment of an individual. The chat room is meant to be somewhere to relax, have a few smiles - but most of all to meet people who have been or in the same position as ourselves and ready to listen and even advise without judgement.

Would be fantastic if we all felt great all the time - but some times we are down, sometimes we are hurting. At times we may just want to go in, sit quietly and listen while we share the company of friends.

Promise, as Jan says, so many are there for all the right reasons please give it another go.

    Hugs

    J xx
