The trial drug I think is called amg, will check that. He is self employed, plumbing and heating and is always working, it is what keeps him sane at the moment. After diagnosis, he went straight to work and he had chemo all day  last Thursday and went to work as usual on friday.

I hope this drug works and that he goes into remission. I hope they can do something good to help you too. I keep reading about the breakthrough in Cancer treatment and hope that very soon they come up with some even better drugs to help you and others.

My husband has gone through chemo, removal of tumour and part of his gullet.   He has now gone through more chemo but to no avail.   It has spread to his bones, liver and lung.   Our next plan is more chemo starting on the 1 December.   He has gone through so much since last Christmas and so upbeat I am now finding it so very hard to keep cheery.    Where do we go from here.   I am desperate.   Martin is 67 and a fighter so here's hoping.   Is it normal to lose a lot of weight - he has lost 3 stone and looks so ill.   New to the site so really dont know how to reply.    Will wait and see and keep fighting.   Thankyou for listening,.
