back again

1 minute read time.

hi wow haven't been on here in ages ! yikes.  This is more of a blog so I can write things out to help sort things inmy head

So my boyfriend finished treatment last year, non hodgkins lymhoma, he had a variety of chemo, a stem cell transplant , high dose chemo & radiation. He also had a stay in intenstive care which was scary.

He had some lumps under his nipples but scans have showed nothing worriesome.

He is feeling a lot better, eating A LOT more and generally has more energy, although he still sleeps alot but he has always been someone who slept alot.

recent blood tests and check up with oncologist have been good. He still has lumps on the side of his neck, oncologist thinks they could be scar tissue as nothing comes up with scans.

should come here more often, everyone here is really nice and helpful, people here understand and often help with ways of coping

Yesterady while touching his lumps he thinks he may have found a new one. It is very small and you have to press fairly hard to feel it. The thing is, he isn't sure if it is a new lump or one that has always been there and he has just missed (like scar tissue), as he usually doesn't press down that hard. Usually just touches the ones he has.

He rang the hospital today and we are going in Friday morning for an xray & to see the oncologist.  So it will be a nerve racking few days to say the least. SO so SO Frustrating, it seemed like things were going well and he was doing good, he is even doing some weights at home ( I can barely lift them LOL)

gah. I HOPE it is nothing, or a lump that has always been there but he has missed cos he never really pressed hard.  sigh. why is it when you think life is going well crap like this happens. I am doing my best trying to keep my boyfriend from worrying too much
