Less than one minute read time.

Today I went to visit my dad in the hospice. He went in Tuesday (16th) morning. After sitting with him a while, me and my mum were called into a side room...here the doctor told us that things are progressing fast & time is limited...I asked if by limited she meant like weeks...and she said it could be even less than that.

So here I am faced with the prospect that, in a matter of days, my dad could be gone from my life...:'-(

Just think what you want to say then go and see your dad.Tell him how you feel and, if he is able

he will do the same it wont be easy I wished I had done this with my wife.It is too late when they are gone.He may have requests for you.that he would like carried out.Carrying out the requests can help

sometimes. My thoughts are with you try to be strong.andy

It's such a sad time! My dad went into his hospice on Monday and today I was told he's very poorly and may not come out of the hospice. So I totally know how you are feeling right now.

We have to be strong, and just be there for your dad and tell him you love him. Its a scary future, knowing whats coming.

My thoughts are with you too x

I'm thinking of you. 2 weeks ago I held my step-dad's hand in his final moments. It's tough, but I'm so glad I was there. Cherish the moments - sending you lots of love and strength. Val X
