It’s not about Cancer...It’s about me...and I’m not even sorry..woo hoo!!!!

Hi guys, it’s me, back again! What an amazing night! Went to Wembley, saw Oasis and had the time of my life!! I was Sar...mad Sar...happy Sar...crazy Sar..healthy, singing shouting, screaming, just for a few hours but Gosh it was the old me!! It was good old Indie Chick at her rocking best! Keefy....sorry for the phone call I couldn't resist! So the first concert I took my hubby Sam to was yes, you guessed it, Oasis, at the Old Wembley Stadium, with the good old Twin Towers like back in 96’. We are even in the Official Video, immortalised forever haha! My one real claim to fame! We have since been to many concerts and festivals together, our love of good music always in common. It’s something we have enjoyed doing over the years, I think hubby secretly loves my music madness :0) I really, really wanted to go last night, I won’t get to see them again I know and what a perfect way to end my gallivanting gig going era, than seeing Oasis with my lovely hubby one last time! It was so emotional and I was so ecstatically happy just to be there with him. Man I’ve grown up with band, from the sound of the first cord of their first song it can transport me back in time, to memories of our marriage and our girls, I love it. My girls often hear a tune and they tell me it reminds them of the three of us (daddy was posted abroad), I would be sat on the swing seat in our garden eating cherries and throwing the pips and the girls would be paddling around in the pool in the sunsheeeeeeeine! I have such special memories of those days! So last night my friends it was all about the Indie Chick, it was all about the music and the love I have for it. It was about my girls remembering what brings me alive, about knowing my Grandkids will be full of the tales my daughters will undoubtably tell them of me, it was so not about the bloody cancer! Anyway in the immortal words of Mr Liam Gallagher, “you and I, we’re gonna live forever!” Love and Peace to all Indie xx
