well, we manage to escape to the Loire Valley in the motorhome for two weeks. Had treatment on Tuesday, went in my birthday balloon trip wednesday morning and caught the eurotunnel friday night. We went down to the Loire Valley and did chateaus and gardens and finished with Monet's garden at Giverny, which was on my 'things still to do' list. Brilliant
We came home Saturday evening ready for another treatment. The oncologist had the results of the Ct scan I had before the last treatment - it showed that things are stable as far as the cancer is concerned, but I still have some fluid left in the lungs. He did say no flying, so I will have to make do with seeing my new granddaughter in LA on skype. Today I got my CA 125 results, and it has gone down again to 103, so things are really working this time. A great relief after the last treatment did nothing! here's hoping for more good news next time.
Definately making the most of feeling ok!
