Morning all!!
I`m off to a day in hospital for infusion of chemo today at 9am till 8pm.
Fine relaxing day then eh?
This being the last one for the meantime before surgery-so all things crossed-just hope all goes to plan.
Last time was put off, due to bloods not being good!
Sorry for the panic-but had to tell somebody.

What a marathon - hope you took a good book! Don't feel the need to apologise for having a panic - that is what this site is all about. Good luck with the rest of your treatment.
My wee dad got sent home today as his bloods were too low, he was so gutted, as I was because I go on holiday next week and hoped he would be out of hospital as I am his main driver!
Hope the sun is shining where you are, its roasting here in SCOTLAND for a change!
All went well for me in the end yesterday, after me to be told that I had to get bloods done again coz my bloods were down too just like your dad`s.That happened to me the last time.It`s a bit soul destroying at the time coz I physc myself up for the day ahead just like your dad will eh?I know how you and he feels.Can you get somebody to be his driver while you go on hols??I really hope so! I am in Scotland- Aberdeen in fact- and yep your right it was one of our best day`s yet coz we don`t get many of them-do we? Is your dad George and from Banff area? coz that was what he had to do yesterday at ARI. You know what like- we all can chat to one another in the hospital. Can have a right bloomin moan coz we`re all in the same boat-but at the end of the day it`s all for the good and would be too risky to do the chemo if other things are nae right??
