doing my 20mile jouney..

off to hospital , to visit hubby, taxi to train station, train to manchester, bus to the christie, so thats 20 miles there and then retun journey...iv only lived up here for 9 months and iv see more of manchester than i did my home town down south...lol....hope today brings you all peace, comfort, and pain free...hugs to you all.........................xxx

  • Twenty miles! You poor thing. It is bad enough to with everything that is on your plate without all that hassle. It was only by chance we bought a house near a brilliant hospital and now I'm so grateful.

    Aww, I know the feeling.

    Im under the christie, and it's an 80 mile round trip for me every time I go :(

    It really tires you out!

    Hi, from where I live I also have a long round trip to hospitals, breast care one hospital and oncology another. bout a 76 mile round trip. makes all appts very long days and it's in a car. So poor you using publis transport but at least as you say you've seen a lot of the area around you.

    lol vee iv seen to much of the area!!! i was getting a taxi from manchester piccadilly it was costing £12 there and £12 back one of the nurses gave me bus times and where to get off now it only costs £2.35 return not bad so now i pay out £5.35 instead of £27 so hubby is happy....lol and thanks for other comments also im glad i dont have to travell 76/80 miles so i wont moan about it...love and hugs.....sandra...........xxx
