Recently I started working after discovering I'm in remission - great days!!!!!!!!
I wanted to use some cream to moisturise my hands and found an old cream in my bag...So I used it...and nearly threw up:)
Obviously I've been using the same cream in hospital while having chemotherapy treatment and my brain remembered that smell...Amazing how people can assiociate smells with experiences! :) Now I know I'll never use the cream again:)
I also heard a story about woman who met her oncology doctor in a supermarket few years after the treatment...Her memories were so strong that...yes you know what happended to her. I'm only glad I wasn't the one to clean it up:)
