Here is a picture from the weekend. I realised it had been quiet for a while and the youngest was not in sight any more. I discovered S in her bedroom covered in sudocrem (nappy rash cream). She had a great time lathering it on as if it were factor 50 suncream. It is not easy to wash off so it was straight into the bath with her, despite her attempts to wash her own hands!
After my blog post last week I had another chat with the colorectal nurse. She was very reassuring but let me know that I was unlikely to hear about an appointment until the oncologist returned from leave as he likes to prioritise his appointments. At least I know the referral has been made. I was hoping this meant I would hear something today (Monday), but I guess he will have catching up to do, so I'm being a patient patient and giving them the benefit of the doubt (at least until tomorrow!).
The Chemo-Irradiation will be at Northampton. Here is a link to their website for anyone interested in knowing more. I have yet to find out exactly how relevant this is to me, but I'm assuming it is good information to get to grips with for now:
