End of week 2 - OK-ish

Less than one minute read time.

It's been a bit up and down this week. I don't know what got into me on Wednesday - apart from a bit of tiredness I felt really chipper and very glad that the nausea of week one hadn't returned. Unfortunately the last couple of days haven't been quite so great - the nausea is back and I've been a bit more sore and tired. The nausea is still manageable though so I guess I'm still doing pretty well all things considered.

I'm glad we are heading into the weekend now so can enjoy a couple of days off from the chemo pills and the daily radiotherapy trips. However friendly the radiotherapy team are, it is nice not to see them every day!

In case anyone from Holiday School is reading this - have a FANTASTIC time. I'll miss you and look forward to hearing all about it afterwards. I'll be with you in spirit and then next year back again in person.

    Hi Wannadance,

Yes its nice to get a break from all this chemo pills and radio. Its amazing what a couple of days off can do to help rest the body and mind.

I like your spirit and strength. Setting yourself a target of next year with Holiday School. Good Luck.

Take care and be safe Big Hugs Love Sarsfield.xxx

  • Hello Wannadance,

Sorry you are feeling rough have you been offered anti sickness pills? I had chemo radiation prior to surgery and found that the nausea was well controlled with medication but we are all different.

I am willing you on as  we are both being trteated for bowel cancer and dance was a big part of my life (still is inside) , so I understand the freedom that you feel when you dance. Please know that you can add my name to the list of people willing you on .

    Take care

    Love Cathie xx
